GUY MUZIO

Co-Managing Partner, Selene Energy

In addition to his role at Selene Energy, Guy currently serves as a Director of the Radian Group, a NYSE listed company in the mortgage insurance industry where he currently serves as chair of the Compensation and Human Capital Management Committee.  Prior to his position at the Radio Group, Guy had an extensive and distinguished career at Goldman Sachs.  Beginning in 1977, he served as an institutional Bond Salesman and rose to the Co-Head of the New York Institutional Corporate Bond Sales desk in 1984.  In 1986, Guy became the first Global Mortgage and Asset Backed Sales Manager responsible for creating the sales team and strategy and was one of the founding members of Goldman Sach’s Mortgage and Asset Backed Department. In 1990, he became a general partner and Co-Head of the Mortgage Department where he oversaw billions of dollars of trading, risk management, sales, research, structured finance and compliance.  In 1995, he moved to San Francisco to become the Resident Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities Sales Manager for Goldman Sach’s western region. In 1996, Guy became a Managing Director and continued as the San Francisco Sales Manager until he retired in 2004. In 2004, Mr. Muzio co-founded Ocean Gate Capital Management, LP.  Mr. Muzio holds an MBA from Columbia School of Business and a B.A. from Boston College.

JOSHUA GOLDSTEIN

Co-Managing Partner, Selene Energy

In addition to his role at Selene Energy, Joshua serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Lynmark Group. After graduating from American University in Washington, D.C., Joshua joined the Lynmark Group in 2002 with the goal of fostering new real estate project development as well as taking a hands-on role in managing the company’s extensive portfolio. Joshua has been responsible for personally managing the delivery of more than $250 million in real estate construction and development projects.  In addition, he manages over 700,000 square feet of commercial offices and shopping centers, owns and operates over 300 keys of hospitality assets along with focused investments in renewable energy and expanding the family portfolio.

JEFFREY GOLDSTEIN

Partner, Selene Energy

Jeffrey has over 40 years of experience in real estate investment, management, and development includes market rate and affordable apartments, condominiums, office, hotel, retail, and single-family developments. Since his graduation from Drexel University, Jeffrey has been a “hands on” real estate entrepreneur and management executive involved in more than 1 billion square feet of real estate projects. In 2004, Jeffrey Goldstein and Richard Oller formed Multifamily Management Services Group and in 2009 they formed GoldOller Real Estate Investments. Jeff serves as the MMS Group’s President and Chief Executive Officer where he supervises the organization’s extensive operations, including accounting, construction, asset, and property management groups as well as overseeing the operations of the MMS Group’s family of companies.

BARRY TURKANIS

Partner, Selene Energy

Mr. Turkanis is a principal and co-founder of Ocean Gate Capital Management, LP (Ocean Gate) an investment management firm founded in 2004 and a principal at Ocean Gate Realty Advisors. Mr. Turkanis is also currently co- founder of NXT Ventures Management (“NXT”). NXT funds were established for the purpose of discovering and enabling the next truly disruptive start-up companies. Mr. Turkanis joined Salomon Brothers in 1982 as an institutional salesperson. In 1988, he moved to Goldman, Sachs & Co. for 15+ years until he retired as a Managing Director in June 2004. He was the Resident Manager of the Boston Office responsible for the Fixed Income Currency and Commodities department until 1996. In 1996 he served as the Global Mortgage and Asset Backed Sales Manager for Goldman Sachs’ Mortgage Securities Department. In 2000 he became Co-head of Goldman Sachs’ Mortgage Sales and Trading Division. His responsibilities included oversight of trading, risk management, sales, research, structured finance and compliance for the department. Mr. Turkanis serves as a Board or Board Overseer Member of multiple emerging firms as part of NXT Ventures. Mr. Turkanis holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School (1979) and a B.S. from Syracuse University (1976).   

RICHARD OLLER, ESQ.

Partner, Selene Energy

Richard, a lawyer by training, began his career in real estate as an attorney practicing commercial real estate law at Blank Rome LLC, one of Philadelphia’s largest commercial law firms. In 1985, he formed The Wentworth Group, a real estate service firm which specializes in property management, asset management and workouts; providing specialized residential management in the Northeast corridor, with management operations from New York to Washington DC. Wentworth matured into one of the largest residential property management firms in the United States, providing management services to more than 140,000 units. In 1997, Richard sold his controlling interest in Wentworth to Toronto based FirstService Company.  Continuing as Chairman of Wentworth, he did double duty as President of FirstService Financial, Inc. and later as Senior Vice President – Development for FirstService Corporation. In 2002, Richard sold his residual interest in Wentworth to FirstService and left FirstService to pursue private real estate investment and management opportunities, including an interest in affordable housing. In 2004, he and Jeffrey Goldstein formed the MMS Group and began service as its Chairman where he was tasked to supervise its growth and strategic planning.  In 2009, Richard and Jeffrey formed GoldOller Real Estate Investments, where he serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  Richard graduated from Temple University, Summa Cum Laude and President’s Scholar, and graduated first in his class from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University.

JAKE HOLLINGER

Partner, Selene Energy

As a founding member of GoldOller Real Estate Investments, Jake serves as President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Jake directs new investments for the GoldOller portfolio and oversees management operations for all investments. Jake has over 20 years of experience working with real estate investments in acquisitions, development, finance, and management. Before GoldOller, Jake was a Vice President in the Trammell Crow Company’s Development and Investments group. Jake graduated from Harvard University with honors and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

JOHN BRYAN

Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Selene Energy

In addition to his role at Selene Energy, John also serves as the Senior Vice President of the Lynmark Group. John joined the Lynmark Group in 2015 after a long career in state government and private consulting.  After serving in various positions within the New York State Assembly and New York State Senate, John joined the New York State Empire State Development Corporation in 1998 as Senior Vice President-Chief Administrative and Information Officer. In 2004, John began serving as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the New York State Thruway Authority and Canal Corporation and in 2013 he further served as interim Chief Operating Officer. At the end of 2014, John left state government to pursue his own consulting and real estate interests.  In addition to serving as the Senior Vice President of the Lynmark Group, in 2015 John began serving as a Senior Project Director of HJI Group, an international infrastructure consulting company headquartered in Beijing, China, and California. John is a graduate of the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, where he earned both his Masters and B.A. degrees in economics.
